This is a great chippy and run by a very friendly family. Recently discovered they do a much better kebab than my local van and not only is tastier, the portions are very generous and the same order at my local van would cost me an extra £4 pound. Highly recommend this place

This is one of those shops that going into, is a pleasant experience. The staff are polite, nice and friendly. The food quality is high, good and tasty. You get a good amount, too. I pop in about once a month, and I can say, not been disappointed yet. Do drop in if passing. It could become your favourite Chippy!

A good Chippy is becoming harder to find these days. I have now been using St.Mary’s chippy for a number of years and have always had freshly cooked fish and chips. Never a bad meal in my experience. What’s makes it a good chippy? Well it starts with the ladies who serve, always friendly and up for a chat. The fish is always freshly cooked, yes there is a little wait, but worth it. The chips are proper thick cut chippy chips. It ticks all the boxes, not just one or two. But like all things it is a personal choice, but I’ve never been disappointed.
